Common safety features include non-skid floors, built-in grab bar(s), and thermostatic control. For bather comfort, many walk-in tubs have heated seats, quick fill, and quick drain systems to help bathers remain comfortable throughout the bathing experience.
Many models have the same footprint of a traditional bathtub allowing for easy replacement with no loss of valuable floor-space. Custom sizing is also available, as well as, upgrades for bubble jets and shower head attachments.
